This two-hole bead necklace is featured in our Bead of the Month Calendar!
Watch our YouTube Video Tutorial for how to make the pendant for this necklace.
Cut two lengths of jewelry wire each approximately 17 inches long. Add two 8/0 seed beads to the center of both wires. Add your beaded pendant to the center of the wires using two oval jump rings. The jump rings should be on either side of the two seed beads.
Add the following pattern to one side of the wires:
Repeat the last three segments twice to finish this side of the necklace. Then, make a mirror image of the entire bead pattern on the other side of the pendant.
Add a crimp tube to each wire end on one side of the necklace. Bring the wire ends through a jump ring, and bring each wire back through its respective crimp tube. Crimp in place. Repeat on the other side of the necklace.
Cut a length of chain to the desired length for one half of your necklace. Attach to one side of the necklace using a jump ring. Repeat on the other side of the necklace. You can add three jump rings linked together to one end of the necklace to create an extender chain for extra length. Attach a clasp to the other end of your necklace using a jump ring.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
