This bracelet is a color variation of our Blueberry Shimmer bracelet.
Add an 11/0 seed bead to a comfortable length of thread with a needle on one end, followed by three 15/0 copper-lined alabaster seed beads, leaving a 6-inch tail.
Next, add the right hole of a turquoise Ginkgo Leaf Bead, with the curve of the bead facing up. Add an 11/0 seed bead and the left hole of a turquoise Ginkgo, with the curve of the bead facing down toward the previous Ginkgo. Add a 15/0 copper seed bead, a tangerine fire-polished bead, and a 15/0 copper seed bead. Next add the right hole of an orange Ginkgo, an 11/0 seed bead, and the left hole of an orange Ginkgo. Add a 15/0 copper seed bead, a tangerine fire-polished bead, and a 15/0 copper seed bead. Repeat this pattern until your bracelet is the desired length, keeping in mind your clasp will add 2 1/2 inches of length.
After, adding your last Ginkgo, add three 15/0 copper beads, an 11/0 seed bead, and three 15/0 copper beads. Go through the second hole of the last Ginkgo added. Follow the first diagram in the PDF to add either an 11/0 seed bead or a sequence of 15/0 seed bead, tangerine fire-polished, and 15/0 seed beads between the second stringing holes of the Ginkgo beads.
When you are coming out of the second stringing hole of the first Ginkgo bead again, add three 15/0 copper seed beads. Go back through the first 11/0 bead added as shown in the first image of the diagram.
Go through the next three 15/0 seed beads, as shown in the second image of the PDF diagram.
Add four 15/0 copper seed beads and go through the next 11/0 seed bead between the first two Ginkgo beads. Add four 15/0 copper seed beads and go through the next sequence of 15/0, tangerine fire-polished, and 15/0 between the next two Ginkgo beads. Repeat for the length of your bracelet.
When you reach the seed beads at the end of your bracelet, go through the last three 15/0 beads and the 11/0 seed bead at the end of your bracelet. Come up through the next three 15/0 seed beads on the other side of the bracelet and repeat adding four 15/0 seed beads between 11/0 seed beads and the sequences of 15/0, tangerine fire-polished, and 15/0 beads. Continue until your thread is coming out of the 11/0 bead on the first end of your bracelet.
Add two 15/0 copper seed beads to the thread, as shown in the third image of the PDF diagram. Add the left loop of a stitch-in link to the thread. Then, add two 15/0 copper seed beads, an 11/0 seed bead, and two 15/0 copper seed beads. Skip the first three 15/0 beads to the side of the first Ginkgo bead, but bring your needle through the next three seed beads.
Add a copper fire-polished to the thread. Skip the 11/0 bead between Ginkgos and the next 15/0 bead over and bring your needle through the second 15/0 bead over. Add a 15/0 copper bead, an 11/0 bead, a copper-fire-polished bead, an 11/0 bead, and a 15/0 copper bead to the thread. Skip over the fire-polished sequence between the Ginkgos and bring your needle through the second and third 15/0 beads over. Repeat this step for the length of your bracelet.
When you reach the other end of the bracelet, follow the third image of the PDF diagram to add the stitch-in link to this end of the bracelet and to add the fire-polished pattern to the other side of the bracelet. Make sure that the stitch-in link is facing the same way as the first one (these stitch-in links feature a different pattern on each side). When you make it back to the first end of the bracelet, your thread should be coming out of the first 11/0 seed bead you added in step 1.
Follow the thread path in the fourth image of the PDF diagram to add lilac 15/0 seed beads to the outer edges of the bracelet. You will also be adding a sequence of 15/0, 11/0, and 15/0 seed beads to the ends of the bracelet.
Once you have added all the beads, weave your thread back into the beads. Knot between beads in a few places and then trim your threads. Do the same with the tail thread.
Attach the loop component of the toggle to one end of the bracelet using two jump rings linked together. Add the bar component to the other end using four jump rings linked together.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
