Combine Ginkgo Leaf Beads, TOHO Seed Beads, and Czech Glass Beads for an unforgettable bracelet style.
Add a metallic primrose yellow 11/0 seed bead to a comfortable length of thread with a needle on one end, followed by three11/0 dyed green AB seed beads, leaving a 6-inch tail.
Next, add the right hole of a Jet AB Ginkgo Leaf Bead, with the curve of the bead facing up. Add an 11/0 primrose seed bead and the left hole of a Ginkgo, with the curve of the bead facing down toward the previous Ginkgo. Add an 11/0 green AB seed bead, a green fire-polished bead, and an 11/0 green AB seed bead. Repeat this pattern until your bracelet is the desired length, keeping in mind your clasp will add 2 inches of length.
After, adding your last Ginkgo, add three 11/0 green AB beads, an 11/0 primrose seed bead, and three 11/0 green AB copper beads. Go through the second hole of the last Ginkgo added. Follow the first diagram in the PDF to add either an 11/0 primrose seed bead or a sequence of green AB seed bead, green fire-polished, and one green AB seed bead between the second stringing holes of the Ginkgo beads.
When you are coming out of the second stringing hole of the first Ginkgo bead again, add three green AB seed beads. Go back through the first 11/0 primrose bead added as shown in the first image of the diagram.
Go through the next three green AB seed beads, as shown in the second image of the PDF diagram.
Add three green AB seed beads and go through the next 11/0 primrose seed bead between the first two Ginkgo beads. Add three green AB seed beads and go through the next sequence of green AB, green fire-polished, and green AB between the next two Ginkgo beads. Repeat for the length of your bracelet.
When you reach the seed beads at the end of your bracelet, go through the last three green AB beads and the primrose seed bead at the end of your bracelet. Come up through the next three green AB seed beads on the other side of the bracelet and repeat adding three green AB seed beads between primrose seed beads and the sequences of green AB, green fire-polished, and green AB beads. Continue until your thread is coming out of the primrose bead on the first end of your bracelet.
Add two green AB seed beads to the thread, as shown in the third image of the PDF diagram. Add the left loop of a stitch-in link to the thread. Then, add two green AB seed beads, a primrose seed bead, and two green AB seed beads. Skip the first two green AB beads to the side of the first Ginkgo bead, but bring your needle through the next three seed beads.
Add a blue fire-polished to the thread. Skip the primrose bead between Ginkgos and the next green AB bead over and bring your needle through the second green AB bead over. Add a green AB bead, an primrose bead, a smooth blue round, a primrose bead, and a green AB bead to the thread. Skip over the fire-polished sequence between the Ginkgos and bring your needle through the third green AB bead over. Repeat this step for the length of your bracelet.
When you reach the other end of the bracelet, follow the third image of the PDF diagram to add the stitch-in link to this end of the bracelet and to add the fire-polished pattern to the other side of the bracelet. Make sure that the stitch-in link is facing the same way as the first one (these stitch-in links feature a different pattern on each side). When you make it back to the first end of the bracelet, your thread should be coming out of the first 11/0 seed bead you added in step 1.
Follow the thread path in the fourth image of the PDF diagram to add 15/0 seed beads to the outer edges of the bracelet. You will also be adding a sequence of green AB, primrose, and green AB seed beads to the ends of the bracelet.
Once you have added all the beads, weave your thread back into the beads. Knot between beads in a few places and then trim your threads. Do the same with the tail thread.
Attach the loop component of the toggle to one end of the bracelet using a jump ring. Add the bar component to the other end using two jump rings linked together.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
