This jewelry set shows how you can use two different styles of bead caps to highlight the same bead. Cheri used a larger bead cap at the ends of her pear-shaped beads, and chose a smaller bead cap to complement the tapered tops of her pear-shaped beads. Each bead cap is the perfect fit You can see more inspiration for using bead caps in your designs in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Slide a TierraCast antique gold lily bead cap onto a TierraCast bright brass 2-inch 21 gauge head pin, followed by a Czech glass 12x10mm matte aqua green with antiqued gold finish old style drop bead, a TierraCast gold antique 5mm leaf bead cap, and a Czech glass 4mm opaque red Picasso fire-polished bead. Make a wrapped loop at the top of the beads.
Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately ten inches. Slide a 14K/20 gold-filled 2x2mm crimp tube onto the end, followed by a TierraCast gold-plated brass medium oval open jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Hide the crimp with a crimp cover from the Beadalon gold color crimp cover variety pack.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
