This design gets its name from the scaly texture of the SuperDuo Beads. I added SuperUno Beads to the sides for dragon-like ridges.
SuperDuos and SuperUnos combine to create a look of Dragon Scales in these bracelets. When woven together, SuperDuos take on a magical scaly texture and the SuperUno beads add fun fringe. Add a TOHO 11/0 bead round in higher-metallic royal purple to your thread, followed by a SuperDuo 2-hole opaque olive and marbled gold seed bead. Repeat four more times to create your first row of beads. Make sure to leave a long tail, as you will be using it for the clasp.
At the end of the row, add a seed bead, a SuperUno Czech glass chalk white Vega luster bead and another seed bead to the thread. Go through the second stringing hole of the last SuperDuo in the row. Add another SuperDuo to the thread and then go through the second stringing hole of the next SuperDuo in the first row. Repeat adding SuperDuos between each one in the first row until you reach the end of the row.
Add a seed bead, a SuperUno, another seed bead and a SuperDuo to the thread. Bring your needle through the second stringing hole of the SuperDuo in the second row. Repeat the technique of adding SuperDuos between beads from the previous row, then repeat steps 2 and 3 until your bracelet is the desired length.
After adding the last SuperDuo in your bracelet, add seed beads in between each SuperDuo in the last row. Your thread should be exiting out of the last SuperDuo in the row. Add a seed bead to the thread. Go through the seed bead on the edge of the bracelet next to it. Bring your needle through the SuperDuos until you reach the last SuperDuo on the other side of the bracelet.
On the other end of the bracelet, go through the last edge seed bead, the SuperDuo next to it and then the next seed bead in the row.
Go through the third seed bead in the row and then string five seed beads onto your thread, followed by half of the TierraCast brass oxide pewter heirloom clasp set and five more seed beads. Go back through the other side of the SuperDuo bead to create a loop. Pass through the seed beads, the clasp and the SuperDuo a few times to create a secure loop. Make a knot in your thread and weave the tail through a few beads to hide it. Trim if necessary.
Start a new thread on the other side of the bracelet. Go through the second seed bead on the edge of the bracelet and the SuperDuo below it.
Go through the second seed bead in the last row, the SuperDuo next to it and the third seed bead in the row.
Repeat step six to add the other half of the clasp to this side of the bracelet. Repeat steps one through nine to create the other bracelet. Note: Steps 10 through 12 are to show how to add new thread if needed.
Finish the thread in the middle of the bracelet. Add a new thread to the needle and bring it through the SuperDuos until both the new thread and the old thread are together.
Tie a knot with the two threads. You can also add a dab of glue to make it more secure.
Pass the two threads through the next SuperDuo. Cut the ends and continue your work with your new thread.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown
below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from
the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up
