This is a sparkling fall variation of our Fire Polish Frenzy Bracelet, featuring gorgeous PRESTIGE Crystal Beads!
Cut a comfortable length of thread (2-3 feet) and add an 8mm crystal bead. Bring your thread back through the other end of the stringing hole to form a loop around one side of the bead, leaving a 4-6 inch tail. Pull tight so the thread is up against one side of the bead.
Repeat so there are two strands of thread on one side of the bead.
Add two 8/0 copper-lined light topaz seed beads to the thread. Bring them down next to the bead. Bring your needle under the two threads around your bead and pull tight so that the seed beads are now against the 8mm faceted round bead.
Bring your needle up through the second seed bead added and pull. Your seed beads should now start to snug up against the 8mm round, forming a frame.
Pick up one seed bead and bring your needle back through the two thread strands around the bead.
Bring the needle back up through the bead. This is a modified brick stitch technique for adding beads.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you have 6 seed beads framing half of the faceted round bead.
Start another increasing row of brick stitch on top of the row of copper-lined topaz beads. Use the 8/0 frosted bronze beads for this row. To start the row, add two seed beads and bring the thread through the first thread bridge between the last two beads in the previous row. Pull tight.
Bring your needle back up through the second bead added and pull tight.
Add a frosted bronze bead to the thread and continue the brick stitch technique for this row.
You want 8 beads in this row. You will have to add an extra bead to one of the thread bridges in the middle of the row, as pictured. Because these rows curve around the bead, one of the thread bridges will feel wider than others and will be easier to add an extra bead.
End the row on an increase (adding an extra bead to the last thread bridge as you did before) to get 8 beads in this row.
Bring your needle up through the last seed bead added to finish the row.
Start another increasing row of brick stitch on top of the row of frosted bronze beads. Use the 8/0 galvanized matte starlight beads for this row. To start the row, add two seed beads and bring the thread through the first thread bridge between the last two beads in the previous row. Pull tight. Bring your needle back up through the second bead added and pull tight. Add another galvanized matte starlight bead to the thread and continue the brick stitch technique for this row.
You want 10 beads in this row. You will have to add an extra bead to one of the thread bridges in the middle of the row, as pictured.
End the row on an increase (adding an extra bead to the last thread bridge as you did before) to get 10 beads in this row. Bring your needle up through the last seed bead added to finish the row.

End the row on an increase (adding an extra bead to the last thread bridge as you did before) to get 12 beads in this row. Bring your needle up through the last seed bead added to finish the row.
Position your thread so that it is coming out of the second to last frosted bronze seed bead in the last row of brick stitch. To do this go down through the second frosted bronze seed bead and the starlight bead below it...
...come back up through the last starlight bead next to the bead you’re coming out of and then go up through the second frosted bronze seed bead in the last row of brick stitch.
Now we are going to add the fringe to the edge of the last brick stitch row. Add a 4mm Smoked Amber bead and a starlight seed bead to the thread.
Skip the starlight seed bead and come back down through the Smoked Amber bead and the second frosted bronze seed bead in the brick stitch row.
Bring your thread up through the next frosted bronze seed bead in the brick stitch row.
Add a 6mm Golden Topaz bead and a copper-lined light topaz seed bead to the thread.
Skip the seed bead and then go back down through the Golden Topaz bead. Then, bring your thread through the next frosted bronze seed bead over in the brick stitch row.
Come back up through the next frosted bronze seed bead over.
Repeat steps 21-26 to add the rest of the fringe along the length of the brick stitch row, ending with a Smoked Amber piece. Leave your working thread long – you will connect this piece to others later to make your bracelet.
Repeat steps 1-27 six times to make the brick stitched beads for your bracelet.
Now you will connect your brick stitched pieces together to create your bracelet. Position your working thread so that it is coming out of the last frosted bronze seed bead in the last row of your brick stitch. Line up a second brick stitch piece next to your first piece, with the brick stitch frame in the opposite direction (as pictured). Bring your thread through the last beads in the last three rows of brick stitch on the second brick stitch piece.
Come back down through the last beads in the last three rows of brick stitch on the first brick stitch piece.
Now, go up through the last frosted bronze seed bead in the second row of brick stitch on the second brick stitch piece.
Go down through the last seed bead in the fourth row of brick stitch on the first brick stitch piece.
Go up through the last seed bead in the second row of brick stitch on the second piece and then go through the last seed bead in the third row.
Go down through the last seed bead in the third row of brick stitch on the first piece.
Come up through the last seed bead in the third row of brick stitch on the second piece and then come up through the last seed bead in the fourth row of brick stitch on the second piece.
Come down through the last seed bead in the fourth row of brick stitch on the first piece.
Come back up through the last seed bead in the fourth row of brick stitch on the second piece.
Repeat steps 29-37 to continue connecting your brick stitch frames together in this manner, making sure to position the brick stitch frames so that they alternate from up to down.
Weave your thread or add a new one so that it is coming out of the top row of brick stitch on the last bead in your bracelet. Add 7 starlight seed beads and go back down through the bead in the brick stitch. Reinforce the loop and then secure and trim your thread. Repeat this step on the other end of the bracelet.
Attach each half of the clasp to the seed bead loop on each end of the bracelet using a jump ring for each.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
