Simply lay the trimmed end of the cord in the metal crimp end. Use jeweler's pliers to fold down and flatten one side, then the other of the metal.
Measurements: 8mm long including loop, 3.5mm wide, 3.8mm thick. The ends will accommodate cord up to about 2.5mm thick. The loop has an inner diameter of 1.5mm.
