String the Czech glass button onto the center of a four-foot length of leather. Fold the leather in half so the button rests in the center of the fold and tie an overhand knot with the two strands of leather. The button should be at the top of your knot.
Position your leather on a macrame board for easy working. The button end should be pinned in place at the top of the board and you can add the two ends of leather to two slots at the bottom of the board. Work with a spool of Griffin silk cord to add beads to your wrap bracelet. Knot the thread to the leather, right below the knot in the leather. Cover the knot with a few wraps of thread. Then, secure by running your needle under the wraps, so the thread comes out between the two strands of leather.

Follow this pattern for the first few rows of your wrap bracelet (Each line is one wrap):
Wrap the bottom of your thread around the leather and then slide a mood bead onto both cords of leather and the silk cord thread. Slide the bead down next to the rows you've already added to your wrap.
Continue the bracelet in this manner for the length desired. We added more rows of two 8/0 seed beads here and there to create variation and to make sure the mood beads we added would hit in different spots on the wrist. Make sure to check the bracelet on your wrist as you work and add mood beads where you see fit.
When you've added your last mood bead. Wrap your thread a couple of times around both cords of leather and knot. Then, knot your leather cords over the thread, just above the mood bead.
Knot your leather cords again, about an inch away from your last knot. The gap between knots will serve as your loop closure with your button, so be sure to check the fit. Make another loop closure in the same manner if you want an adjustable length for your bracelet.
Add two 6/0 seed beads, a round mood bead, and three 6/0 seed beads to one end of leather. Knot the end to secure the beads and trim.
Add five 6/0 seed beads, a round mood bead, and one 6/0 seed bead to the other end of the leather. Knot the end to secure the beads and trim.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
