Use the flat chenille stitch to make a lovely bracelet with TOHO seed beads and Cymbal findings.
Follow our video or step-by-step photo instructions for flat chenille stitch, using the 8/0 beads for the larger beads and the 11/0 beads for the smaller beads in the stitch. Continue the stitch until you reach the desired length for a bracelet (Note: One tube of 8/0 beads made about a 4 1/4 Inch length of bead weaving. If you want to make a longer bracelet, you will need more than one tube of 8/0 seed beads).

Make sure you end your bracelet on a row of one 8/0 seed bead, one 11/0 seed bead, two 8/0 seed beads, one 11/0 seed bead, two 8/0 seed beads, one 11/0 seed bead, two 8/0 seed beads, one 11/0 seed bead, one 8/0 seed bead.
Stitch a Cymbal finding onto one end of the bracelet. The first loop of the finding should fit right after the first 8/0 seed bead in the row, just above the first 11/0 seed bead in the row. Go through three of the 8/0 seed beads after loop and go through the second loop of the finding. Go through the next three 8/0 seed beads and go through the third loop of the finding. Again, this loop will fit right above the last 11/0 seed bead in the row. Go through the last 8/0 seed bead in the row and weave your thread back into the piece to secure and trim. Repeat this step on the other end of the bracelet.
Attach one half of the clasp to one end of the bracelet using three jump rings linked together. Repeat on the other end of the bracelet.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
