Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Refer to the instructions for our SuperDuo Delights bracelets for step-by-step photos on how to make a bracelet like this. Start by folding a length of thread in half and add a needle to each end.

SuperDuo Delights Bracelets

String the 6mm antique brass-plated round magnetic clasp onto the thread so that it is in the middle of the fold. Add three seed beads from the Artbeads Dark Wisteria Designer Blend onto each side of the thread. Then, add one Matubo SuperDuo 2x5mm gold metallic suede 2-hole seed bead to both threads.

String one seed bead onto each end of the thread, followed by one SuperDuo. Repeat until your bracelet is the desired length. You can also string an alternating pattern of one seed bead and one SuperDuo on one side of the thread first and then add a seed bead to the second thread while going through the other hole of each SuperDuo already added, like Cynthia does in the Artbeads Cafe episode.

Add your last SuperDuo to one side of the thread only, leaving the other stringing hole open. After the last SuperDuo added, string three seed beads onto the same side of the thread, followed by the other end of the clasp and three more seed beads.

With the needle on the right end of the thread, go through the open stringing hole of the last SuperDuo bead.

Cinch up your thread and ensure the beads are tight enough together. Make a knot with the ends of the two threads, just after the last SuperDuo bead added. Go back through several beads before trimming the thread and repeat for the other side of the thread. If you have enough thread, you can reinforce the bracelet by going through many beads in the bracelet before trimming.
