You can pair Dakota Stones pendant sets with all kinds of components to create a rich and stylish look. Candie started with an orange impression jasper pendant set, and layered in brass chain, a Vintaj filigree focal, Swarovski beads, and even Beadlinx Beaded Chain chain. The result is an amazing layered look we can't get enough of Discover more ways to use Dakota Stones pendant sets in designs in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Cut a length of 22 gauge Antique Copper Artbeads Designer Wire approximately six inches long. Slide the center pendant from the Dakota Stones orange impression jasper 11-piece ladder pendant set onto the center of the wire. Create a messy wrapped loop at the top of the pendant, leaving one tail of wire long. Slide a Swarovski 8mm briolette bead in Crystal Golden Shadow onto the wire. Attach this dangle to the center loop of the Vintaj Natural Brass fanned boho filigree by making a wrapped loop.
Cut a length of Designer Wire six inches long. Slide the next largest pendant from the set onto the center of the wire. Create a messy wrapped loop at the top of the pendant, leaving one tail long. Slide a Swarovski 6mm faceted round in Crystal Copper onto the wire and attach the dangle two loops over from the center of the filigree by making a wrapped loop. Repeat two loops over from the center on the other side of the filigree.
Slide a Swarovski 6mm briolette bead in Crystal Copper onto a Vintaj Natural Brass 1.5-inch 21 gauge eye pin and make a simple loop at the top of the bead. Cut two lengths of Vintaj Natural Brass 3.5mm cable chain approximately two inches long each. Open the loop on your link and add the chain pieces. Close the loop. Attach this dangle one loop over from the center of the filigree. Repeat on the other side of the center. Repeat four more times to fill the remaining loops on the filigree, except this time cut your chain lengths shorter (1 1/2 inch for two dangles and 1 1/4 inch for the next two) to create a nice graduated look.
Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately nine inches long. Slide a TierraCast 2x2mm brass oxide brass crimp tube onto one end and then bring the wire through the top loop on one side of the filigree. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Cut a length of brass chain approximately 15 1/2 inches long. Attach one end to the jump ring at one end of the necklace and attach the other end to the jump ring at the other end of the necklace.
Cut a length of Beadlinx giraffe glass rondelle beaded brass oxide chain approximately 15 inches long. Attach one end to the jump ring at one end of the necklace and attach the other end to the jump ring at the other end of the necklace.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown
below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from
the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up
the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color
scheme—it’s up to you!
