Blue gemstones can add amazing style to your jewelry designs. Cynthia used powder blue impression jasper beads from Dakota Stones as the showcase of her bracelet design. These beads feature a peachy pink matrix swirled within the soft blue color. You can see more inspiration for using blue gemstones in your jewelry designs in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Cut two lengths of jewelry wire each approximately 11 inches long. Slide a TierraCast 2x2mm brass oxide brass crimp tube onto the end of each wire. Then, add one wire to the top loop of one half of the antique brass-plated 14x10mm 2-ring magnetic tube clasp. Add the other wire to the bottom loop. Bring each wire back through its respective crimp tube and crimp each in place.
Repeat this pattern until the bracelet is the desired length, keeping in mind the clasp adds about half of an inch in length. Make sure to end the sequence with a rectangle bead.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
