Mood beads are a great accessory for children and parents alike. This set pairs mood beads with shining tassels for an unforgettable look you'll want to share with your daughter or granddaughter. Make these necklaces together for a fun beading day Your child can help make the tassels and string the beads.
Make three tassels with the Beadalon tassel maker using Beadalon metallic blue on black cotton tassel cord for two of the tassels and Beadalon metallic green on black cotton tassel cord for one tassel. The tassel maker rods were set at the second holes from the center for our tassels.
Add your focal to the strand then make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the wire. Attach a 925/10 silver-filled 6mm closed 18 gauge jump ring to a 4.30mm open jump ring. Slide a crimp tube onto your wire, followed by the 4.30mm jump ring. Bring your wire back through the crimp tube to form a loop around the jump ring and crimp in place. Remember to use the last round mood bead on the strand as a crimp cover by sliding it over the crimp tube.
,Make tassels and attach them to a piece of wire as you did for the previous necklace. We used metallic blue on black cotton tassel cord for one tassel, metallic green on black cotton tassel cord for another tassel and the Beadalon metallic silver on blue cotton tassel cord for the last tassel. Slide the 17.5x16mm mirage mood turtle island bead onto the wire, followed by a bicone mood bead. Make a wrapped loop at the top of the beads.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
