Collar chains can be worn on shirt collars as a fun accessory for any ensemble. They also make cute accessories on jean jackets and can be used as sweater chains. This collar chain features a brick stitch fox on each end one with a flower crown and one with a top hat. These foxes look especially adorable at the very tip of a collar. Becky used TOHO Aiko seed beads for consistent color and precise shape while stitching.
Create a brick stitch Mr. Fox using the PDF Diagram below. You will be increasing and decreasing the stitch through the rows. Start with a ladder stitch where indicated, at row 1 on the diagram. The row numbers and arrows on the diagram indicate which direction you are stitching for each row. Work your way up to the top of the fox and then weave back down to the bottom to add the last row or use the tail thread to add the last row.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
