Mirabelle Necklace Tutorial

Create a tubular herringbone stitch approximately five inches long using the Artbeads Chambray Blush Designer Blend. Each row will have eight beads in it. For help with creating this stitch, please see our tutorial video.

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 20 inches long. Slide a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by a 925/10 silver-filled 6mm 20 gauge open jump ring attached to half of the TierraCast 5/8-inch antique silver-plated pewter Anna's toggle clasp set. Bring the wire back through the jump ring and crimp in place. Use a sterling silver 3mm crimp cover to hide the crimp.

Add the following bead pattern to the strand:

• One 5mm round pearl in Crystal Iridescent Light Blue
• Three TierraCast 4mm silver-plated pewter plain heishi spacers
• Five 6mm round pearls in Rose Gold
• Three spacers

Repeat this pattern two times, and then add a 6mm round pearl in Crystal Iridescent Light Blue to the strand.

Add a TierraCast 8mm rhodium-plated brass capitol cord end cap to the wire, followed by your tubular herringbone rope, making sure to slide the end of the rope into the end cap. Add another end cap to the other end of the rope. Make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the rope.

Slide a crimp tube onto the wire, followed by a jump ring attached to the other half of the clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Hide the crimp with a crimp cover.

Slide the TierraCast rhodium-plated pewter raised hammertone pinch bail over the center of the tubular herringbone rope. Slide the 39mm spike pendant in Crystal AB into the prongs of the pinch bail and squeeze them in place to secure the pendant to the bail.
