Land and Sea Necklace Tutorial

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 10 inches long. Slide a TierraCast antique copper 2x2mm crimp onto the end of the wire, followed by the loop of a JBB 2mm antique copper-plated brass crimp end cap with loop. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Add the following pattern to the wire:

• One Dakota Stones teal serpentine and bronzite 4mm round bead
• One Dakota Stones copper-plated hematite 2mm hexagon chip
• One Czech glass 6mm dark bronze opaque disc spacer bead
• One Czech glass 6mm aqua blue matte with speckled gold finish disc spacer bead
• One hexagon chip
• One 4mm round bead
• One hexagon chip
• One aqua spacer
• One dark bronze spacer
• One hexagon chip
• One Dakota Stones teal serpentine and bronzite 8mm round bead and one hexagon chip (repeat twice)
• One bronze spacer and one aqua spacer
• One hexagon chip
• One 4mm round bead
• One hexagon chip
• One aqua spacer and one bronze spacer
• One hexagon chip and one 8mm round bead (repeat twice)

Make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the center 8mm bead.

Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by the loop of a crimp end cap. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Hide the crimps at each end of your beaded strand with a 3mm antique copper crimp cover for each.

Cut a length of 1.5mm natural leather approximately 5 inches long. Slide the end of the leather into the crimp end cap at one end of your beaded strand. Crimp the leather in place by squeezing down around the middle of the crimp end cap with pliers. Add a crimp end cap to the other end of the leather. Repeat this step on the other side of your necklace.

Attach each half of the 12x7mm antique copper-plated oval magnetic clasp to each end of the necklace using a TierraCast solid copper open round jump ring for each.
