Cranberry Mint Spritzer

Refer to the Cranberry Mint Spritzer Pattern PDF to see the pattern of beads for making this bracelet. Start your bracelet with one row of ladder stitch using eight opaque green beads from the Artbeads Cranberry Bog 11/0 Miyuki Delica Seed Beads Designer Blend. The Basic Herringbone Stitch PDF will help you create the ladder stitch and the herringbone stitch for the rest of the bracelet. To add silver beads to the outside edge of each row, as shown in Image 8 of the Basic Herringbone Stitch PDF, add a silver bead as you turn your needle to do the next row and then go up through the bead in the row above.

Follow this pattern for the rest of the bracelet:

• Three rows of herringbone using eight opaque green beads
• Two rows using eight transparent green beads
• Two rows using two transparent green beads, four cranberry beads and two transparent green beads
• Two rows using two transparent green beads, one cranberry bead, two silver beads, one cranberry bead and two transparent green beads
• Two rows using two transparent green beads, four cranberry beads and two transparent green beads

Repeat this pattern six times, making sure to add silver beads each time you turn to do the next row. Add thread as needed.

Bead Weaving Basics: Starting, Adding, and Ending Thread

Add two rows of eight transparent green beads and then three rows of opaque green beads. Then use the square stitch to add a row of eight opaque green beads to finish the bracelet.

With your thread exiting out of the fourth bead in the last row of your bracelet, add two opaque green beads to the thread. Then, bring your thread back down through the fifth Delica in the last row and back up through the two beads you added. Bring the thread back down through the fifth bead in the last row and back up through the fourth bead and the first bead you added. Add two more opaque green beads to the thread. Go back down through the second bead you added and up through the first bead you added. Then, bring your thread up through the third bead added. Now, add a 8mm faceted cube in Fuchsia to the thread, followed by a silver seed bead. Go back down through the cube and the fourth bead added. Reinforce the cube and opaque green beads added by looping back through them. Secure and trim your thread.

On the other end of the bracelet, make sure your thread is exiting out of the fourth bead in the last row. Add 11 transparent green beads, three cranberry beads, one silver bead, three more cranberry beads and 11 more transparent green beads to the thread. Come down through the fifth bead in the last row of your bracelet. Test the loop around your cube to make sure the closure fits, then bring your thread back through the loop to reinforce it. Secure and trim your thread.
