I like to think of this necklace as my sporty necklace! The colors of the Dakota Stones pendants are so vibrant and spirited.

When using Dakota Stones pendant sets in designs, it's easy to let the amazing colors stand out. Candie showcased the lapis and lime green impression jasper pendants in this necklace by pairing them with shining silver accents and dark leather for contrast. Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately ten inches long. Add the Dakota Stones lapis and lime green impression jasper 11-piece ladder pendant set to the wire, with a Hill Tribe silver faceted spacer between each pendant.

Add an antique silver 4mm beaded heishi spacer to one side of the pendant set, followed by a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube, and 12 TOHO 8/0 bead rounds in silver-lined blue. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube so that the seed beads form a loop. Crimp in place. Repeat this step on the other side of the pendant set.

Cut a length of 2mm natural red brown round leather approximately 22 inches long. Fold it in half. Slide one end through the seed bead loop on one side of your pendant set, so that the fold in the leather rests in the loop. Then, add three JBB sterling silver 7mm cutout tubes to both ends of the leather. Glue a TierraCast 4mm tin oxide brass pagoda cord end cap onto the ends of the leather and allow to dry. Repeat this step for the other side of the necklace.

Attach the bar component of the TierraCast antique rhodium heirloom clasp set to one end of the necklace using three TierraCast small sterling silver open round jump rings linked together. Attach the loop component to the other end of the necklace using a jump ring.
