In my mind, this set has me sailing away to tropical oceans!
Splashes of turquoise blue and muted pumpkin colors create a look of tropical elegance in this jewelry set. Cynthia used Dakota Stones gemstones and Czech glass fire-polished beads to achieve the look. Both the earrings and the necklace are also accented with Nunn Design organic metal beads. Cynthia made this set during a Facebook Live Design Challenge. Watch her make these and other designs here.
Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately six inches long. Slide a 14K/20 gold-filled 2x2mm crimp tube onto the end, followed by the last link of a 8 ½-inch length of gold-plated textured oval link chain. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Add a Dakota Stones Peruvian amazonite 6mm star cut round bead and a Czech glass 6mm saturated pumpkin fire-polished bead to the strand. Repeat once. Add a star cut bead and a Nunn Design antique gold-plated pewter organic metal bead to the strand. Repeat twice. Add a star cut bead and a Czech glass bead to the strand. Repeat once and then finish the strand with a star cut bead.
Add a crimp tube to the wire, followed by the last link of another 8 ½-inch length of chain. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Attach the TierraCast gold radiant toggle clasp to each end of the necklace using a TierraCast gold-plated brass open round jump ring for each.
Open the loop of the eye pin and attach it to the other end of the chain on your dangle. Close the loop. Open the loop of the eye pin at the top of your dangle and attach a three-link length of chain. Close the loop.
Open the loop of a 14K/20 gold-filled ball end earwire and attach to the chain at the top of your earring. Close the loop.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown
below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from
the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up
the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color
scheme—it’s up to you!
