Magical Medley Necklace Tutorial

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 22 inches long. String a 14K/20 gold-filled 2x2mm crimp tube to the strand. Bring the end of the strand back through the crimp tube so it forms a small loop. Crimp in place. Add seed beads from the Artbeads Under the Boardwalk Designer Blend to approximately 18 inches of the strand. String on a crimp tube, bring the wire back through the tube and a few beads and crimp in place. Trim any excess wire.

Add about eight seed beads to the strand, followed by a pearl from the 4mm Crystal Pearl Metallic Magic Designer Blend. Then, add a TierraCast brass oxide pewter 3mm faceted heishi spacer bead and three pearls. Repeat this pattern until your strand is nearly as long as the first strand. Then add a pearl and eight seed beads to the strand. Add a crimp tube, form a small loop and crimp in place. Trim any excess wire.

Then, add five bicones from the 4mm Bicone Hot Cocoa Designer Blend and a TierraCast brass oxide pewter medium cube spacer EuroBead. Add the ends of all three strands to the loop of a 2-inch antique brass-plated 20 gauge eye pin. Use chain nose pliers to close the loop. Add a TierraCast brass oxide pewter tall radiant cone to the eye pin, followed by a cube EuroBead and a bicone. Make a wrapped loop at the top of the bead. Add a TierraCast brass oxide pewter twisted hook clasp to the wrapped loop using a TierraCast medium oval brass oxide pewter open jump ring. Repeat this step on the other end of the strands.

String a Dakota Stones 30x40mm mixed impression jasper rectangle bead onto a 2-inch antique brass-plated 2mm 20 gauge ball end head pin. Make a simple loop at the top of the bead. Place the TierraCast brass oxide pewter spiral pinch bail over the three strands of your necklace. Pinch the ends of the bail closed around the simple loop on your focal. If you need to, use chain nose pliers to pinch the bail closed.
