Raven's Journey Czech glass beads are available in so many amazing shapes and colors. Cynthia had fun using several different styles in these pieces to accentuate a gorgeous hand-painted focal bead. Since the Czech glass beads are available by the strand, it's easy to create even more jewelry to match. Becky challenged Cynthia on Facebook Live with these components to make a piece of jewelry and Cynthia created all of these pieces. You can watch Cynthia make these jewelry designs here.
Slide a TierraCast antique gold 4mm Teke heishi spacer bead onto a gold-filled 025 2-inch eye pin, followed by the hand-painted Feather by Mucha on black agate rectangle bead and make a simple loop at the top of the beads.
Add the hand-painted focal to the wire using a jump ring. Make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the focal.
Cut five lengths of chain approximately 1-inch long each. Add them to the loop of an eye pin at the center of each chain, to create dangles for a chain tassel.
Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately six inches long. Slide a Czech glass ivory with rainbow finish laser-etched dagger snake skin design bead onto the center of the wire, with a 4mm gold vermeil daisy spacer and a gold crimp tube on either side of the dagger.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
