Unique bead shapes can turn a simple bead weaving pattern into something spectacular. Cheri used CzechMates Diamond Beads and Brick Beads to create this cool look. You see the edges of the Diamond Beads when they are used in the pattern, so they give this piece a really fun dimension. Discover even more unique bead shapes from CzechMates here.
Add a stopper bead to a comfortable working length of thread. Start your beaded bracelet design as shown in figure 1 of our Arabian Princess PDF Diagram and detailed here:
Repeat step 2 as shown in the PDF diagram to continue making your bracelet to the desired length, keeping in mind the clasp will add about 1/2 of an inch in length. The beaded section of our bracelet is six inches long.
Add two seed beads to the thread, as shown in figure 3 of the PDF Diagram. Go through the second hole of the Brick Bead. Add two seed beads and go through the first hole of the Brick Bead. Go back through the first two seed beads.
Add approximately 23 seed beads to the thread, as shown in figure 7 of the PDF Diagram. Go through the two seed beads on the other side of the Brick Bead to form a loop. Check that the loop fits the button and loop through the beads again to strengthen the loop. Then, weave back into the bracelet to secure and trim your thread.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
