TierraCast stitch-in connector links allow you to easily add extra accents to your woven and stitched designs. We incorporated the links into a square stitch bracelet to add charms at the center of the design.
Thread a comfortable length of thread onto a beading needle and add a stopper bead. Add 10 beads from the Artbeads Forest Blush Designer Seed Bead Blend to your thread. Create a second row of beads using the square stitch. After creating 3 rows of square stitch, incorporate a TierraCast stitch-in connector link as your middle bead on the 4th row. Continue the row. Treat the center hole of the link as the center bead in the 5th row and the last hole of the link as the center bead in the 6th row.
Create 17 rows of square stitch using just seed beads. We checked the fit of the bracelet on the wrist as we stitched. You want the next stitch-link you add to be at the center of the wrist so adjust the amount of rows if necessary.
Incorporate a stitch-in link as your middle bead for the next 3 rows, as you did in step 2.
Create the same amount of total rows on the other side of the center stitch-in link as what's on the first side you already stitched. When you have only 4 rows left to stitch, incorporate the final stitch-in link as your center beads for the next 3 rows.
Attach the TierraCast Mandala button to the stitch-in link at the start of your bracelet using a jump ring.
Add a 4mm Crystal Rose Gold 2x bicone to a head pin and make a wrapped loop at the top of the bead. Open a jump ring and add a TierraCast leaf charm and the bicone dangle. Attach to the center stitch-in link on the bracelet.
Attach 2 more leaf charms to the center stitch-in link using a jump ring for each, attaching them behind the center leaf.
Create a seed bead loop to fit around the mandala button, attached to the final stitch-in link on the bracelet. Our loop features 43 seed beads. Bring the thread back through all of the beads in the loop several times to reinforce. Knot and tie off the thread and then trim.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
