This bracelet is a design variation of our Autumn Dance Bracelet.
Add a bar bead to your thread, followed by a seed bead. Repeat five times. Then, add two seed beads and go through the second stringing hole of the last bar bead added.
Add a bar bead to your thread, between the last bar bead in the previous row and the second bar bead in the previous row. Bring your thread through the second stringing hole of the second bar bead in the previous row. Repeat this step, adding another bar bead between all of the bar beads in the previous row.
Add three seed beads to the thread. Add a bar bead and go through the second stringing hole of the last bar bead in the previous row.
Add a bar bead to the thread and go through the second stringing hole of the next bar bead in the previous row. Repeat to add a bar bead between each bar bead in the previous row. Add another bar bead to your thread for this row.
Add three seed beads to your thread and go through the second stringing hole of the same bar bead your thread is coming out of.
Repeat steps 2-5 until your bracelet is the desired length, keeping in mind the clasp will add 1 inch of length. For your last row, add a seed bead between each bar bead.
Add a fire-polish bead between the picot edges on each edge of the bracelet. To do this, weave back through the last three seed beads on one edge of the bracelet. Add a fire polish bead and go through the next seed beads on the edge. Repeat for the length of the bracelet and then do the same on the other edge of the bracelet. Secure and trim your thread.
Go back through the last row of beads on one end of your bracelet until your needle is coming out of the center seed bead. String three seed beads onto your thread, followed by the loop component of the toggle clasp, and three more seed beads. Go back through the other side of the center seed bead to create a loop. Pass through the seed beads and the clasp a few times to reinforce. Make a knot in your thread and weave the tail through a few beads to hide it. Trim if necessary.
Use your tail on the other side of the bracelet and repeat step 8 to add the other half of the clasp to this end of the bracelet. This time, your loop will have 14 seed beads.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
This technique is so fun and is quick to weave up!
