This project uses the Tulip I-Cord Knitter to easily make a beaded rope!
Use the I-cord Knitter to make a beaded rope for your bracelet. We used TOHO Amiet cord for our beaded rope. Pre-String about 96-100 seed beads onto your cord and then follow our video tutorial for using the I-cord knitter to add beads to your knitted rope. Our beaded cord is about 3 ½ inches long.
How to Use the I-Cord Knitter VideoGlue the end of your I-cord into one of the rope cord end caps using E6000 and allow to dry. Repeat on the other end of the I-cord
Attach a 1 ½-inch length of leaf chain to one end of your I-cord using a jump ring. Attach the leaf toggle half of your clasp to the end of the leaf chain using a jump ring.
Add the bar component of your clasp to the other end of the I-cord using three jump rings linked together.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
