Two-hole Vee Beads make this bracelet stand out!
Cut a length of thread approximately 3 feet long. Add the left stringing hole of a bronze Vee bead, with the point of the Vee facing up. Add a fire-polish bead and then the left hole of a matte metallic flax Vee bead, with the point of the Vee facing up. Add a fire-polish bead. Repeat this pattern 8 times for a size 7 ½ bracelet. Add fewer repeats of the pattern for a smaller bracelet. Finish the pattern with a bronze Vee Bead.
With your thread coming out of the last Vee Bead in the pattern, add three gold seed beads and go down through the second hole of the Vee bead.
Add the right stringing hole of a turquoise Vee bead to the thread, with the point of the Vee facing in the opposite direction of your Vee beads in the first row. Go through the open stringing hole of the next adjacent Vee bead in the first row. Repeat this step for the length of the bracelet. Your thread will be coming out of the last Vee bead in the first row.
Add three gold seed beads to the thread and go through the first stringing hole of the same Vee bead. Go up through the fire-polish bead and the next Vee bead in the first row. Jump to the second stringing hole of the same Vee bead. Go back up through the next turquoise Vee bead and the second stringing hole of the last bronze Vee bead in the first row. Add three gold seed beads.
Add the first stringing hole of a matte metallic flax Vee bead, with the point of the Vee facing up or in the opposite direction of the turquoise row of Vee beads. Bring your thread through the second hole of the next adjacent turquoise bead in the second row. Add the first stringing hole of a bronze Vee bead, with the point of the Vee facing up. Bring your thread through the second hole of the next adjacent turquoise bead in the second row. Repeat this pattern for the length of the bracelet, alternating matte metallic flax and bronze colors. You will end this row by adding a Vee bead to line up with the last Vee bead in the first row.
Add three gold seed beads. Go through the second stringing hole of the last bronze Vee bead in the first row. Go through the first stringing hole of the next turquoise Vee bead in the second row. Go through the second hole of the same Vee bead and back up through the first stringing hole of the last Vee bead in the third row.
Add three gold seed beads and then go through the second stringing hole of the same Vee bead.
Add a fire-polish bead and go through the second stringing hole of the next Vee bead in the third row. Repeat for the length of the bracelet. When you’re coming out of the last Vee bead, add three gold seed beads and go through the first stringing hole of the same Vee bead.
Weave your thread through the body of the bracelet and knot in several places to secure and trim.
Attach each half of your clasp to each end of the bracelet using a jump ring for each.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
My first time working with Vee Beads and I love the result! Those pointed shapes really draw the eye.
