Keep your face mask in place and stay stylish with these beaded face mask chains. They are simple to make and you can customize them with any kind of beads to suit your style.
For the first mask chain, cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 25 inches long. Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by a lobster clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Add the following pattern to the wire:
Repeat this pattern until you have about 3 inches of wire left , then end with 14 alabaster seed beads.
Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by a lobster clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
For the second mask chain, cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 31 ½ inches long. Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by a lobster clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Add the following pattern to the wire:
Repeat this pattern until you have about 3 inches of wire left, then end with 5 grapefruit seed beads, 3 semi-glazed seed beads, and 5 grapefruit seed beads.
Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by a lobster clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
You can attach the lobster clasps to the elastic on your masks and slip over your head for a stylish beaded mask holder. You can also wear these as necklaces by hooking the lobster clasps to each other.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
