To make the tassels, cut an arm’s length of fireline and knot to one of the hammered rings, leaving a 6-inch tail. Wrap the thread around the ring several times and then bring the needle under the thread you wrapped.
Add 8 round crystal beads, 5 3mm light turquoise bicones, one 4mm light turquoise pearls, and one 3mm Crystal AB round. Skip the last AB bead added and go back up through the rest of the beads added. Bring your thread under the threads wrapped around the hammered link. Wrap the thread around the link again if you feel it necessary before starting the next tassel. Repeat this step 4 times on this hammered link for a total of 5 tassel dangles. Once you have added all tassel dangles, knot your working thread to your tail thread and pass the thread back under the thread wraps. Trim and do the same with the tail thread.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 to make tassel dangles on the other hammered link.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
Use this to stylishly hold your sunglasses or try it as a wrap necklace around the neck!
