Dakota Stones gemstone strands are great for using in projects like mask holders that you can also wear as necklaces.
Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 30 inches. Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by a lobster clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Add the following pattern to the wire:
Repeat this pattern 30 times, or until you run out of gemstones on your strand. We alternated gemstone colors when adding them: pink, green, pink, blue. Add a pearl to end the pattern.
Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the wire and then add the other clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Hide the crimps at each end of the lanyard with a crimp cover.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
