Dakota Stones fire opal features sumptuous earth tones that will create lush style in any project. Cheri used fire opal beads with a unique and eye-catching chip shape in these earrings and bracelet. When paired with Czech glass rondelles and fire-polished beads, they make quite a statement.
For the bracelet, cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 12 inches long. Slide a crimp tube onto one end of the wire, followed by a jump ring attached to the lobster clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Add the following pattern to the wire:
Add 3 fire opal flat chip beads to the wire and then make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of these 3 center beads.
Slide a crimp tube onto the wire, followed by a jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
For the earrings, add a fire-polished bead to a head pin, followed by a flat chip bead, a Dakota Stones fire opal 8mm faceted rondelle bead, 5 gold rondelle beads, and a fire-polished bead. Make a wrapped loop at the top of the beads.
Open the loop of an earwire and attach it to the wrapped loop. Close the loop.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 to make the other earring.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
