Knot your thread to the last hole at the bottom of your pendant. Loop your thread through the five holes at the bottom of the pendant, several times through each hole. Then, add a rown of brick stitch to the edge of the pendant, using the threads loopeda round your holes to attach the row to the pendant. We added 13 8/0 seed beads for the first row of brick stitch. For the next row, add two seed beads with an increasing brick stitch. Continue the row and end on an increase. For this row, you will need to add an extra bead to one of the thread bridges between beads in the previous row. When you reach a thread bridge that has room for an extra bead, add one. This row will have a total of 15 beads.

With your thread coming out of the last bead in the last row of brick stitch, make a seed bead fringe piece using the coraling technique. We used the grapefruit seed bead color, followed by the siam ruby color, and then dark copper. Any branches coming out of the dark copper color has ends in the galvanized muscat color. Any branches coming out of the siam ruby color has ends in the dark copper color. Any branches coming out of the grapefruit color has ends in the siam ruby color. We also sprinkled in one end in the turquoie fire-polished beads in each piece of fringe. Add a coral fringe to each bead in the last brick stitch row on your pendant. Adjust amounts of each color and length for each fringe piece to create a graduated look.
Add in thread as needed and when all coral fringe pieces are added, secure and trim all threads.
Attach a bail to the top of your patina pendant. Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 22 inches long. Slide 3 seed beads onto the center of the wire and slide the bail over the seed beads.
Add one pearl and one 5mm bicone to one side of the pendant and then add the following pattern:
Repeat this pattern 4 times, using a 5mm bicone for the last segment instead of a 6mm bicone. Add a crimp tube followed by a jump ring and bring the wire back through the jump ring and crimp in place. Repeat this step on the other side of the pendant.
Add each half of the clasp to each end of the necklace using a jump ring for each.
