It's easy to create art deco style with Preciosa Seed Beads full of glam colors! The square stitch technique makes for an elegant bracelet look.
Create a square stitch bracelet with the Gatsby Pallete. Make sure to leave a tail long enough to incorporate the clasp into your design. The first row will be all black beads from the palette. The second row will be silver beads. Third row: white beads. Fourth row: gold beads. Repeat this pattern of rows until the bracelet is the desired length, keeping in mind the clasp will add about 1 1/2 inches of length.
To incorporate the TierraCast stitch-in link onto one end of your bracelet, attach the first loop of the link to the first bead in your last row of your bracelet, as you would add a bead in the square stitch. Then, add three silver beads to the row with the square stitch technique. Use the second loop of the link as the last bead in your row. Secure and trim your thread. Repeat this step on the other end of your bracelet.
Attach one half of the clasp to one end of the bracelet using two jump rings linked together. Repeat on the other end of the bracelet.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
