These earrings are perfect for Easter and spring thanks to the brick stitch TOHO Aiko Easter egg focal and the glittering PRESTIGE crystals in fresh colors.
To start the brick stitch egg, make a ladder stitch following the color pattern in our Easter Egg Earrings PDF Diagram. We are starting with the widest row of the Easter Egg focal.

Next, you will build out one side of the focal using decreasing brick stitch. Turn your work over so that the thread is exiting up out of the last bead on the first row. Then, follow the color pattern outlined in the PDF diagram. Weave your thread or start a new thread so that it is coming out of the end seed bead in the first and widest row of brick stitch. Finish the other half of the diamond focal with a decreasing brick stitch following the color pattern in the PDF diagram. Leave your thread and needle on the piece for now to use it to attach the earwire and dangle later.
Add a gold Aiko seed bead to the eye pin, followed by a purple Aiko, the crystal pearl, a pink Aiko, the Yellow Opal Shimmer bicone, a purple Aiko, and a gold Aiko. Make a wrapped loop at the top of the beads.
Attach the pear-shaped pendant to the simple loop at the bottom of the beaded link you just created using a jump ring.
Weave your thread on your brick stitch egg coming out of the center bead at the bottom of the egg. Add the wrapped loop of your beaded dangle and bring the thread back through the other side of the same bead. Loop around through the bead and the wrapped loop several times to reinforce and secure.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
