Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 15 inches long. Slide a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube onto the end, followed by the last link of an 8 1/2-inch piece of matte black chain from the matte black and brass oxide duo chain kit. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Add the Nunn Design antique silver-plated pewter tree of life charm to the strand using a TierraCast medium oval rhodium-plated brass open jump ring. Make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the charm.
Add a crimp tube to the end of the wire and bring the wire through the last link of matte black chain on the other end of your necklace (the same link the other beaded strand is connected to). Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
