The pattern in the seed beads give this bracelet an Irish flair, which is complemented by the Claddagh toggle clasp. Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Follow the manufacturer's instructions on how to warp the loom using this guideline: For a bracelet with a size 7 to 7 1/2-inch wrist size, set the loom to approximately 163mm for 75 rows of seed beads. Follow the Tiernan Bracelet Diagram PDF when adding seed beads from the Pacific Kelp 11/0 Designer Seed Bead Blend to the loom. This pattern is meant to be a guideline for your project. Depending on how accurate you set the length of the loom or how tight you weave, your piece could come out differently. Make sure to leave a warp or weft tail long enough at the start of the bracelet so that after tying threads off you can use it to sew on the toggle loop.

If you reach the end of your bracelet and still want to add a row or two to the pattern, alter your loomed piece by hand. This technique will allow you to add rows to the beginning of the bracelet, too.

Altering a Loomed Piece by Hand Tutorial

Sew a sterling silver 4.20mm open jump ring onto the end of the bracelet using the existing threads. When the jump ring is secure, add two green seed beads to the thread and sew them onto the end of the bracelet and over the jump ring. This will help to ensure the jump ring stays in place. Add one half of the TierraCast antique silver-plated pewter Claddagh ring toggle clasp set to the jump ring using two other jump rings linked together. Repeat this step for the other side of the bracelet. You can adjust the amount of jump rings needed to make the bracelet fit better.
