There are all kinds of clasps you can use in your jewelry designs, but some of the most creative also double as a pendant. The winged cameo at the center of this necklace draws the eye and also keeps things together thanks to the small box clasp mechanism to one side. Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately seven inches long. Slide a TierraCast antique copper 2x2mm crimp onto the wire, followed by a 6mm antique copper-plated open jump ring attached to half of the antique copper angel wings clasp with orange and white cameo. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Add a TierraCast copper antique small Turkish heishi spacer to the wire, followed by three Czech glass 5x3mm pink silk with bronze finish rondelle beads, a spacer, a TierraCast antique copper floral round, a spacer, three rondelles, a spacer, and a 8mm round pearl in Crystal Velvet Brown. Make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the pearl.

Add a crimp tube to the wire, followed by a jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Repeat steps 1-3 on the other side of the clasp.

Cut a length of hand-dyed silk multi browns ribbon approximately 12 inches long. Add a JBB 3mm antique copper-plated brass fancy crimp end cap with loop to one end and crimp in place. Repeat on the other end. Attach each end of the ribbon to each end of the necklace.
