Cut approximately 3 feet of smoke gray Fireline thread and attach to one beading needle.

Make a ladder stitch for the first row in the bracelet using TOHO 8/0 hybrid bead rounds in pepper red Picasso.

Create the second row using the decrease brick stitch and Miyuki 8/0 hex cut seed beads in metallic rainbow gold/violet.

Create the third row using the increase brick stitch and TOHO 8/0 hybrid bead rounds in topaz twilight.

Repeat this pattern of alternating from increase to decrease brick stitch with each new row until you have approximately 66 rows. Our bracelet measured approximately 5.5 inches at this point, so you may adjust the number of rows to fit your wrist. You may choose to use any pattern of seed bead colors, but here is the order in which we made rows four through seven:

• TOHO 8/0 hybrid bead rounds in sour green apple Picasso
• topaz twilight
• pepper red Picasso
• Miyuki 8/0 hex cut seed beads in transparent rainbow light amber

On the last row, thread the needle back through several rows in a diagonal fashion, crossing back and forth in a Z pattern to secure the hold. Be sure to finish with the needle going back up through the second bead in the last row. Do not cut the thread; it will be used to create the loop to hold the button, so set aside for now.

With a new thread, sew the Czech glass copper and gold daisy design round button to two central beads in the fifth row. Cut the thread.

Return to the thread from step six. Add approximately 30 beads in a random fashion for the loop. You may adjust the number of beads used to fit your wrist and around the button.

Then, bring the needle back down through the second bead on the opposite end of the row (the second to last bead).

Weave through all of the beads on the last row for a secure hold. Repeat two to three times for extra strength.
