TierraCast's Eastern Path collection includes beautiful cones that work in many different ways. They make wonderful finishing touches for the seed bead tassels in these earrings. They are paired with Asian coin pendants, also from the Eastern Path collection. Learn more about this collection and see how these earrings were made in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Add a stopper bead to a 12-inch length of FireLine. String on about about 3 1/2 inches of Miyuki 11/0 round seed beads in opaque red luster. Position these beads at the center of your thread. Then, add a Czech glass 2mm matte metallic antique gold round bead to the thread. Bring your thread back up through the seed beads, skipping the Czech glass beads. Repeat about 10 times, until you have enough seed bead dangles to fill a cone.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
