Cut your length of 3-foot hand-dyed silk hydrangea blend ribbon into two equal pieces. Choose the section of ribbon that feature the colors you like the most to fit on your Leather Cord USA 21.5x3.2cm red brown leather cuff with gold snap. Sew the two pieces of ribbon together using dark brown KO thread. Cut the ribbon ends so that the ribbon will fit on your leather cuff. Set the leather cuff aside for now, without sewing the ribbons on.

Sew the brass large open fleur de lis embellishment to the center of your ribbon using KO thread. Cut two pieces of antique brass ball and cog chain to fit on either side of the embellishment. Sew them onto the ribbon on top of the sewn edges of the ribbon pieces.

Pick up your leather cuff and turn it over so that the back side is facing up. On this side of the cuff, measure and mark the spots where you will punch holes to add a length of beads that will fix your ribbon onto the cuff. We added two sections of five beads from the 4mm Bicone Monet's Garden Designer Blend on each side of the center embellishment and on both edges of the ribbon. It is okay to mark the holes on the front of the cuff, too, since the ribbon will hide the marks.

Punch holes at the marks. We used the Metal Complex 1.25mm round hole punch pliers to create a small hole. We used FireLine to add the beads and we wanted the needle to grab some leather when passing through the hole.

Line up your ribbon with your leather cuff. Thread your FireLine onto a needle and tie a knot at the end of the thread. Go through the first hole you created and then the ribbon edge, from the back of the cuff. Add five bicones to the thread and go down through the ribbon and the next hole in the leather. Repeat until the last hole on the edge you are working on.

To make a knot to end your thread, make sure your thread is coming through the last hole, to the back of the cuff. Go back up through the hole, trying to catch on the leather and back through the ribbon. Go back down through the ribbon but not the hole in the leather. Make a knot with the previous thread coming up through the hole, between the ribbon and the leather. After making your knot and ensuring it is secure, bring the thread back through the hole and trim. Glue the cut thread onto the leather. Repeat steps five and six for the other edge of the ribbon.
