Cut six lengths of jewelry wire approximately 30 inches long each. Slide the ends of the strands into a JBB antique silver-plated pewter crimp end cap with loop and crimp the end cap shut around the strands.

String frosted pink beads from the Artbeads Tranquil Serenity Designer Blend onto two strands next to each other. Then, string pale blue beads from the blend onto the next two strands. String shiny purple beads from the blend onto the last two strands.

Create a three-strand braid with these beaded strands, grouping the same colors together into one strand. Continue the braid until you have enough for the top of your headband. Remove any beads you don't want to use from the strand. Trim the ends of the wire and slide them into a crimp end cap. Crimp the end cap shut around the strands.

Attach a sterling silver 7.0mm open jump ring to the crimp ends on both ends of your headband.

Cut a length of elastic for the bottom half of your headband. Slide one end through the jump ring on one end of the headband and stitch the end to the body of the elastic. This will keep the elastic secure to the jump ring. Repeat on the other end of the elastic and the headband. When cutting your elastic to size, err on the side of too big. You can always trim down the elastic to make the headband fit properly.
