Learning how to knot between beads opens up so many design possibilities. You can use the technique with traditional pearls, gemstones, or fun Czech glass bead shapes like this necklace. Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Make sure to stretch your TOHO Amiet beading thread in teal before using it. This will ensure your knots stay tight on your necklace.

Make a double knot at the end of your spool of thread. Make sure to pull tight and down on the knots as you make them to ensure they are secure. After you add your beads, you can add as little or as much space between each bead sequence as you like. We used random sequences including Czech glass disc spacers, TierraCast Kenyan heishi and facetd spacers, Czech glass pointed oval beads, and Czech glass wild rose beads. Continue knotting until your necklace is about 34 inches long.

Make a double knot at the end of your necklace. Add a sterling silver clam shell bead tip with 2 rings to the knots at each end of the necklace.

Attach each half of the TierraCast antique silver large beaded clasp set to each end of the necklace using a sterling silver 4.60mm open jump ring for each.
