Magical Meadow Necklace Tutorial

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 22 inches long. Slide a TierraCast 2x2mm brass oxide brass crimp tube onto the wire, followed by a 6mm antique brass-plated open jump ring attached to half of the JBB antique brass-plated pewter flowers round toggle clasp set. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Add about 8 1/4 inches of TOHO Demi round 11/0 beads in gold-lustered dark chocolate bronze. Then, add a pearl from the 4mm Crystal Mix Sunshine Forest Designer Blend, followed by a TierraCast brass oxide pewter 3mm faceted heishi spacer, two bicones from the Blend, a spacer, a bicone, a spacer, two bicones, a spacer, and a pearl. Then, add another 8 1/4-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads. Slide a crimp tube onto the wire, followed by a jump ring attached to the other half of the clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. This will be your shortest strand and you will attach the rest of your strands to the jump rings on the ends of this one.

For your second strand, attach a 5-inch piece of antique brass-plated cable chain to the jump ring on one end of your first strand. Complete this strand with the following:

• Add a spacer onto a 1.5-inch 23 gauge antique brass-plated eye pin, followed by a bicone, a spacer, a bicone, and a spacer. Make a simple loop at the end of the beads and attach it to the end of your second strand.
• Add a pearl onto an eye pin, followed by a spacer, a bicone, a spacer, and a pearl. Make a simple loop and attach to the strand.
• Attach four links of chain to the strand.
• Add two bicones to an eye pin, followed by a spacer and two bicones. Make a simple loop and attach to the strand.
• Attach five links of chain to the strand.
• Add a pearl, a bicone, and a pearl to an eye pin and make a simple loop. Attach to the strand.
• Attach a 4 1/2-inch section of chain to the strand. Attach the large brass scalloped filigree spiral embellishment to the center link of this section using a jump ring.
• Add a bicone to an eye pin, followed by a spacer, a bicone, a spacer, and a bicone. Make a simple loop and attach to the strand.
• Attach eight links of chain to the strand.
• Add a pearl and a bicone to an eye pin, followed by a spacer, a bicone, a spacer, a bicone, and a pearl. Make a simple loop and attach to the strand.
• Attach four links of chain to the strand.
• Add three bicones to an eye pin and make a simple loop. Attach to the strand.
• Attach a 5-inch section of chain to the strand. Attach the end of this chain to the jump ring on the other end of your first strand.

For your third strand, cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 34 inches long. Slide a crimp tube onto the end and loop the end of the wire around the jump ring at one end of your first two strands and back through the crimp tube. Crimp in place to secure. Add the following bead pattern to the strand:

• A 3 1/4-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One bicone, one pearl, and one bicone
• A 1-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One brass cutie bead cap and a Miyuki 8mm bonze round cotton pearl bead
• A 3/4-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One 4mm Czech glass opaque mustard orange faceted round bead, one bicone, one pearl, one bicone, and one mustard bead
• A 1 1/2-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One pearl, one bicone, one 4mm Czech glass opaque turquoise green with Picasso finish faceted roundel bead, one bicone, one mustard bead, one pearl, one 11x9mm matte turquoise with Picasso oval, and one pearl
• A 1/2-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One turquoise round, one bicone, and one turquoise round
• A 1-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• Two bicones, one pearl, and a bicone
• A 1/2-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• A bead cap and a Miyuki cotton pearl
• A 3/4-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One mustard bead, one bicone, and one mustard bead
• A 1/2-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One pearl, one oval bead, and one pearl
• A 1-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One turquoise round, two bicones, a pearl, one oval bead, two bicones, a turquoise round, one bicone, a pearl, and a bicone bead
• A 3/4-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• Two bicones, a pearl, a bicone, a pearl, and a bicone bead
• A 3/8-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One mustard bead, a pearl, and a mustard bead
• A 1/2-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One bead cap and a Miyuki cotton pearl
• A 1-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One bicone, a pearl, a bicone, and a turquoise round
• A 1/4-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• Three mustard beads
• A 1-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• One turquoise round, two bicones, and a pearl
• A 1 1/4-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads
• A bicone, a pearl, and a bicone
• A 2 3/4-inch section of TOHO Demi round seed beads

Remember that these measurements are approximate. If you find your strand is shorter than you would like, add more TOHO Demi round seed beads to the end of your strand. Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the strand, and loop around the jump ring on the other end of your first two strands and back through the crimp tube. Crimp in place.
