Make sure the stone is sitting flush in the setting and then use chain nose or flat nose pliers to push prongs closed over the stone. You'll want to start by partially pushing one prong, then partially pushing the opposing prong. Then, do the same with the remaining two prongs. Go back and tighten the prongs so that they are not raised at the tips or they will snag. Do not squeeze too tight or you may crack or chip the crystal.
