Lea is heading off to kindergarten this year, and we just couldn't resist making her some back to school clothes. We found this darling jacket at our local mall and embellished it with hotfix rhinestones. It had some detailing on it already in pink, purple and silver so we chose to accentuate those colors with coordinating rhinestones. Use our jacket for inspiration but choose colors and quantities to suit your project.
Put something behind the area where you will be applying the rhinestones. When heated, the adhesive on the back of the rhinestones melts and can seep through the fabric.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
