I used blue crazy lace agate and lapis lazuli gemstones to get a fun mix of blues in this necklace.
This Mala-inspired necklace is the perfect way to add meaning to your style It features lapis lazuli and blue crazy lace agate beads from Dakota Stones. Lapis lazuli is said to enhance insight and crazy lace agate is said to promote laughter and optimism. Mala prayer beads are traditionally used for keeping count while repeating a mantra, often during mediation and these gemstone beads will bring even more significance to your meditations.
Slide a random pattern of Dakota Stones blue crazy lace agate 6mm round beads and Dakota Stones lapis lazuli 6mm round beads onto the dark blue Griffin bead cord until your necklace is the desired length. For a true Mala necklace, make sure to add 108 beads. Make a knot in the cord between each bead while you work.
Make a knot at the bottom of the bead pattern. Trim the end of your cord and fray the ends for more texture. Repeat on the other end of the bead cord.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
