Artbeads Chief Jewelry Designer Cynthia asked her daughter Jessica to join her on the Artbeads Cafe and make cute jewelry. Jessica ended up making this lovely necklace filled with fun Czech glass bead shapes and cool dangles. You can watch Cynthia teach Jessica how to make this necklace in this special Artbeads Cafe Live episode.
Open the loop of a gold-filled 2-inch eye pin and attach a Sweet & Petite 15x18mm light blue four petals charm. Close the loop. Then, add a Czech glass black with dark teal finish faceted round bead to the eye pin, followed by a Czech glass 5mm luster iris Atlantis blue melon bead. Make a simple loop at the top of the beads.
Add your focal to the wire using an oval jump ring and then make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the pendant. Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by an oval jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
