Native American hoop dances involve elaborate moves with handmade hoops symbolizing the circle of life. While the dances they are named after may be elaborate, making these earrings is simple thanks to the Coiling Gizmo. Colorful seed beads and shining wire twist around each other like dancers and their hoops in a design that will add life to any style
String seed beads from the Southwest Sunset Designer Seed Bead Blend onto a spool of Vintage Bronze non-tarnish 24 gauge Artbeads Designer Wire. The amount of seed beads you will use will depend on how big you want your hoops to be. Coil the wire with the seed beads on it using the Coiling Gizmo set. Start with a quarter inch of plain coiled wire. Our beaded coil section is about two and three quarters of an inch long. Finish with a plain coiled section the same length as the first. Trim both ends of the wire.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
