This is a great Mommy and Me project. There is nothing more fun or colorful than herringbone weave in friendship bracelets. The color choices are limitless so get creative and make vibrant bracelets with your favorite choices.
We used four colors out of SLON-MIX10 and SLON-MIX11 pack for this project. But, feel free to use whatever mix of Super Lon colors you like to make the perfect friendship bracelet for you.
Cut one strand of each color (four strands total) 8 times the desired bracelet length plus 8-inches for finishing. We used a red, orange and pale yellow from the Super-lon bead cord fall mix and a bright lime green from the summer mix. Fold the strands in half and knot 2 to 3-inches from the end. Tape the knotted end to the work surface or pin to a knotting board.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
