With a swish of movement and a pop of peachy color, this necklace will swing into your style effortlessly. The seed bead bib jazzes up the long, simple black chain and begs to be worn for a night out dancing. You may not know every step of the foxtrot, but we're here to show you every step that goes into making this necklace
Cut a length of 3.5mm matte black-plated rolo chain approximately 2 inches long. This chain will have 21 links. We will call it Chain Row 1. Add a TOHO 6/0 bead round in opaque shiny jet black to a TierraCast 2-inch 20 gauge black finish pewter head pin. Add three TOHO 6/0 bead rounds in gilt-lined peach to the head pin, as well. Attach the head pin to the first link in Chain Row 1 by creating a simple loop.
Add a black TOHO to a head pin, followed by a peach TOHO, a black TOHO and a peach TOHO. Attach this dangle to the right of the last one by making a simple loop. Add a black TOHO to a head pin, followed by three peach TOHOs. Add this dangle to the right of the last one. Repeat this bead pattern for the next dangle. Add a black TOHO and four peach TOHOs to a head pin and add it to the right of the last dangle. Add one black TOHO to a head pin, followed by two TOHO 6/0 bead rounds in gilt-lined sunset orange, one peach TOHO, one black TOHO and one peach TOHO. Attach this dangle to the right of the last one. It should be in the center of your chain. Make a mirror image of this pattern on the other side of the center dangle.
Cut the head off of 22 head pins and set them aside. You will be using them as eye pins for the rest of the dangles. Cut another two-inch length of chain and place it above Chain Row 1. We will call this Chain Row 2. You should have a 32-inch length of chain left. Find the center 21 links of this chain and place them directly above Chain Row 2. This will be called Chain Row 3.
Add nine peach TOHOs to an eye pin. Attach the bottom end to Chain Row 1 by creating a simple loop. Attach the top to Chain Row 2. Add eight peach TOHOs and one black TOHO to an eye pin. Attach the bottom to Chain Row 2 and the top to Chain Row 3. Add two peach TOHOs, one black TOHO, two peach TOHOs, one black TOHO, two peach TOHOs and one sunset orange TOHO to an eye pin. Attach it between Chain Row 1 and Chain row 2, to the right of the first dangle. Add seven sunset orange TOHOs and two black TOHOs to an eye pin and attach it between Chain Row 2 and Chain Row 3, above the last dangle added.
Add nine peach TOHOs to an eye pin and attach it between Chain Row 1 and Chain Row 2. Add eight peach TOHOs and one black TOHO to an eye pin and attach it between Chain Row 2 and Chain Row 3. Repeat this pattern for the next set of dangles added between chain rows.
Add one peach TOHO, one black TOHO, two peach TOHOs, one black TOHO, two peach TOHOs, one black TOHO and one peach TOHO to an eye pin and attach it between Chain Row 1 and Chain Row 2. Add six peach TOHOs, one black TOHO, one peach TOHO and one black TOHO to an eye pin and attach it between Chain Row 2 and Chain Row 3.
Add one black TOHO, one sunset orange TOHO, one peach TOHO, one black TOHO, one sunset orange TOHO, one peach TOHO, one black TOHO and two sunset orange TOHOs to an eye pin and attach it between Chain Row 1 and Chain Row 2. Add five sunset orange TOHOs, one black TOHO, two sunset orange TOHOs and one black TOHO to an eye pin and attach it between Chain Row 2 and Chain Row 3. These should be in the center of your seed bead bib. Make a mirror image of the bib pattern on the other side of the center dangles, using the techniques laid out in these steps.
Use a TierraCast medium oval black finish pewter open jump ring to connect the ends of your necklace.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Add one black TOHO to a head pin, followed by two TOHO 6/0 bead rounds in gilt-lined sunset orange, one peach TOHO, one black TOHO and one peach TOHO. Attach this dangle to the right of the last one.
