I was inspired by all of the anemones, coral, and tropical fish I saw at the Seattle Aquarium when I made this necklace. My mom loved it when she saw it, too!
With Dakota Stones druzy beads, Czech glass flowers, and Swarovski Bicones, Cynthia created this colorful look that will put you in mind of an exotic seascape filled with anemones and tropical fish. Cynthia's mom loved the look so much, she wanted it for herself. It would make an excellent Mother's Day gift. You can find more inspiration for Mother's Day gift ideas in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 20 inches long. Slide a 14K/20 gold-filled 2x2mm crimp tube onto the wire followed by half of the TierraCast antique gold classic clasp set. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. Use a 3mm gold-filled crimp cover to hide the crimp.
Repeat this pattern five times, then add a Tanzanite Bicone, a pink flower, and a Tanzanite Bicone to the strand.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
